Hailey Bonia, often known as Flourish, is an artist and muralist from Massachusetts who lives her life by the laws of creativity, passion and excellence. Bonia is an entirely self-taught, multi-award winning artist with a significant background in painting realism and a vigorous passion for drawing. Her biggest inspirations include psychology, spirituality, the human body, and nature/plants, and she aims to evoke emotion in all of her works.
Hailey’s goal has always been to capture the soul of the subject or business she is creating for. Since childhood, she has been infatuated with drawing realistic portraits, drawing any subject that would sit for her. On the other side of her business, there is her love of lettering, handwriting, and graphic design, which she pieces together to create beautiful murals for businesses around the country.
Before Bonia started her journey of professional art, she was a full-time athlete. Art had always taken a backseat to her sports until a series of career-ending injuries led her to turn to her artwork for support and purpose. Doing so, she developed an artistic skill-set and passion unlike anything she could have ever imagined. She chose art over sports and never looked back. Every day, she is able to apply the discipline she learned through athletics to her artwork and dream of being a prosperous artist. She approaches art and work with the mindset that the starving artist archetype is antiquated and absurd, and that the time has never been better for artists to not only develop their works, but prosper as well. Art has a powerful force unlike anything else in this universe, and this is a force that she strives to share with as many people as possible every day.
