Growing up in a low income household in the projects of East Los Angeles with few opportunities to learn spray painting, Repoe9 began his career as a DJ. In 2005, this path brought him to Western, MA where he picked his first can of spray paint. Since then, he has dedicated himself to honing his craft as a graffiti writer. For Repoe9, aerosol art is a therapeutic way to connect with others, especially youth. He has worked with Nueva Esperanza, Enlace de Familias, New North Citizens Council Youth Center, and Fresh Paint of Springfield (CommonWealth Murals).
