End of Year Giving

BUILDING RESILIENCE TOGETHER.

Together, we make it through — and keep moving forward.

Join us in raising $100,000 to bring high-impact art and hands-on learning to students and communities across Massachusetts.

In a year that challenged the arts, creativity became our strongest tool. Through large-scale murals and our Classroom to the Streets initiative, we’re giving young people reasons to look up, engage, and connect, transforming schools and city streets into spaces for exploration, expression, and community. When students create or walk past art every day, it changes what they see — and how they see themselves.

Art connects cultures. Art opens hearts. Art inspires change. Art teaches lessons.

I feel a deeper connection to the Lynn community. The experience has given me more purpose and reminded me of the importance of my work to help students feel safe in their community through art.” —  Lynn Classical High School art therapist

For nearly a decade, Beyond Walls has embodied resilience — the kind built through creativity, collaboration, and a shared belief in the power of community.

With your support, we’ve transformed more than 260+ walls and public spaces into epic works of art that tell powerful stories. What began in Lynn has grown into a statewide effort, engaging artists, educators, and students across Massachusetts. Together, we’re proving that art can do more than beautify a space — it can bring people together, inspire learning, and strengthen communities.

Your support in action:

Because of your generosity, our Classroom to the Streets initiative has an incredible success.

Together, we:

  • Created 60+ multilingual, standards-aligned lesson plans
  • Through our cohort model (2024-2025), installed 16 murals in collaboration with 16 international artists
  • In 2025, we expanded to include students in our cohort, engaging 10 Junior Fellows from LPS and St. Mary’s, 11 art educator fellows from LPS and St Mary’s and 8 artists from around the globe.
  • Achieved 100% lesson plan adoption by participating educators
  • Since March 2025, we’ve engaged 1,000+ students and youth
  • Reached 8,000+ students across 16 schools through tours and assemblies
