During the fall of 2020, Beyond Walls and Harbor Voices Public Art safely welcomed a new series of public art installations to Lynn, Massachusetts to explore the idiosyncrasies of the times, to hold up a mirror to the uncertainty of it all, and to mindfully energize our community through creative wellness in the streets.

When we began this process in March, we looked to our younger generations for renewed perspectives to guide this street art adventure.  Beyond Walls and our partners encouraged local Lynn youth to inspire and be involved in the creation of the fall’s public art installations — actively and creatively.

Thank you to the 200+ students in Lynn for contributing your voices, stories, and artwork to this project, and for telling it like it is.
