David Zayas

David ZAYAS is a fine artist and muralist. In 2012 he created UN ZAYAS POR DIA project, reaching countries such as Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Paraguay, and the USA. Society is the main theme of his work–Us, human beings. He portrays this theme through images of children, women, and animals.

“In all my recent work, I show an important interest in being the director of the color palette that I am exercising. I play with the contrasts between warm and cold colors, turning the piece into a chromatic spectacle that can reflect my Caribbean identity. And as part of the composition, it has a line in different shades of blue in the shape of a spiral that travels from one end to the other, which digitally can be a brush stroke and that allows me to record the gestures of the movement of my hand.”  (David Zayas @ZayasArt)
