This mural depicts educators and students from Lynn Public Schools who collaborated through the Classroom to the Streets program. The cohort responded to the prompt “Where does your power lie in difficult times” through making, giving, and receiving gifts. The concept was inspired by the student in the bottom right corner who shared that she likes to make gifts for her friends, channeling her creativity while expressing that she cares for her loved ones. The cohort began their creative process together by crafting and exchanging cards with positive affirmations to eachother and artist Megan Oldhues captured the image and entitled the piece “The Chain of Giving”.
