FONKi is a Cambodian/French-Canadian artist who grew up in Montreal and was born in 1990 in Paris, from khmer refugee parents.. At 15 years old, FONKi discovered graffiti and he gradually grew into one of Montreal’s most prominent figures in the city’s new generation of street artists. Upon relocating to Phnom Penh, FONKi is actively reviving an artistic renaissance in the streets of Cambodia, leading street art festivals and exhibitions through FT Gallery. Today, his work can be found across the world, from the U.S. and Mexico to Vietnam, Cambodia, and beyond.
