Octavio Fragueiro

Octavio Fragueiro, also known as FO_Estudio, is an artist and architect born in Córdoba, Argentina. His work explores the relationship between language and image, creating calligrams that convey positive messages inspired by music, embodying values such as friendship and love. His artistic journey began in his own backyard. During his teenage years he was greatly influenced by the rise of graffiti, but wasn’t able to paint in the streets. Instead, he had three walls in his house where he experimented and developed the recognizable style we see in his murals today.

Additional Artist Information

His mural is titled “Not a Passenger”.

“The first female aviator, Amelia Earhart, once said: “There is more to life than being a passenger”. Inspired by this quote, this mural features an airplane with the shortened version of her words. The mural is located beneath the train tracks, right in front of Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, a technical school that is part of the aerospace industry, including training on aircraft turbines.”

He has been part of initiatives such as the mural for United Rentals in collaboration with Beyond Walls in Massachusetts, the Bushwick Collective in Brooklyn, New York, and the Earth Day event in Grassy Key, Miami. Additionally, he has participated in the Wynwood Mural Festival for three consecutive years, sharing his passion with a global community. Both in muralism and digital illustration, his work revolves around positivity, seeking change through color, music, and emotion. His art not only transforms spaces but also aims to create meaningful experiences through word and image.
