Although things are different this year, the process remains the same: preparation, get up high on a wall and get to WORK! All three of our artists are CRANKING and these public artworks are really starting to take shape.
Evoca1 wasted no time in getting up on his wall and began to sketch his piece freehand. As of today, he’s beginning to paint and the piece is really coming together. You can’t miss it if you’re walking down Union Street.
Evoca1 was born in the Dominican Republic, where he spent his childhood drawing and playing baseball, until eventually moving to Hollywood Florida at age 11. As an autodidact figurative painter, muralist and sculptor, he has received his art education from the compulsive study of the old masters works and techniques. His works are personal reflections of his life experiences, as well as from observation of human behaviors and social struggles. He is currently living and working in South Florida, where he continues to develop his craft.

Sen2 is painting a building that you can’t miss as you’re merging onto the Lynnway. His work is big, bold, and colorful. He evolved from spray painting wild-style pieces on trains and walls to developing mixed media works on canvases. He moved from classical New York graffiti art to a combination of graphic lettering styles with 3-D elements, imagery of pop art, and abstract art techniques.
Born in Puerto Rico, Sen2’s art career spans three decades. His prolific style has transformed concrete landscapes into what some call urban poetry.
